Beaches Dinghy/Kayak Annual Registration

Beach Policy for Dinghies and Kayaks On CFP Blvd.

This policy is for the Beach at the intersection of CFP Blvd and Eastons Rd

Deadline for registration is June 15th, 2025.  Please use the application below.
CFPIA Trustees will be installing a dinghy and kayak rack on CFPIA property in
mid-June 2025 for usage for all registered Kayaks and PaddleBoards.

 

2025 Policy for Dinghies and Kayaks is as follows:

  1. Any watercraft (dinghy or kayak) left overnight on CFPIA land must be registered with the CFPIA. Unregistered watercraft will be removed.
  2. Size limits on watercraft left on beach: 12 feet or under.
  3. Boat trailers/vehicles are not allowed on the beach.
  4. Once the rack is installed, all Kayaks and Paddle Boards must be moved into the
    rack that will be provided by CFP.
  5. Registration Process:

    Option 1: Download the CFPIA Beach Dinghy/Kayak Registration Form PDF and print from website. Complete and mail application as per the instructions outlined on the application.  https://www.commonfencepoint.org/beaches/

    Option 2: Use the form below on the website to submit the registration form online. You will have the option to pay with a credit card or mail a check.

    Trustees will review and notify applicant within 7-10 business days and will email approvals with notice for applicant to pick up their designated USCG registration sticker at the CFP Arts, Wellness and Community Center.

  6. The Seasonal fees for 2025 is:

    Kayaks and Paddleboards: Cost for 2025 Season: $60
    Dinghies may stay on the beach: Cost for 2025 Season: $75

    The season runs from May 15th to Nov 1st. Any boats left on the beach after this date will be removed. These measures have been put in place due to safety concerns and to preserve the land along the beach. CFPA owns the land that feeds onto the beach, as well as the piece of land where kayaks have been left. It is our responsibility to provide
    guidelines that serve to protect this land.

    As with similar watercraft storage solutions in neighboring towns, there will be a fee associated with any boats left overnight. Season passes to leave watercraft on the beach will be issued by CFPIA as per the approval process. 

    Please note – Owners leave any property at their own risk, CFPIA is not responsible for any property left unattended.
