Taking Shingles off the Hall Together
Helped CFP save $2000!
Yes, it was a good old-fashioned "barn-raising" - which meant a community came together to build or rebuild a structure near and dear to them! That is exactly what CFP is did last weekend. As early as 8am, residents grabbed their hammers, shovels, some sun glasses (or safety glasses!), ladders, pry-bars and came down to the Hall to tear off a shingle or two. Doing this ourselves saved a couple thousand dollars. A wonderful turnout of dedicated residents and volunteers joined the fun and were part of time honored and meaningful tradition.
