Volunteers Sought for Post-Hurricane Damage Assessment Training & Exercise Drill

Participation in the exercise DOES NOT obligate you to respond during a real world event or even beyond this exercise.   Your participation will help us improve our plan, neighborhood resiliency, and help improve our ability to recover faster from a damaging event.

Location:  Common Fence Point (CFP) Community Center, Anthony Road, Portsmouth, RI, and the coastal neighborhood of CFP.

When:  Tuesday, August 24th, commencing at 4:30 PM we will set up our equipment at the CFP Hall, and provide some orientation training for anyone that wants to show up to help set up or just see the set-up.  This is NOT required of the players, just offered.

Wednesday, August 25th is Exercise Day.
5:30 – 6:00 PM Check –in.   If you cannot make it this early due to work, just join us when you can.

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Just-in-time training, safety brief and review of exercise manual.

7:00 PM – 9:30 PM exercise play.  We may not go till 9:30 if all exercise objectives are met, which they should be, prior to 9:30 PM

Participant Coordination & Planning.   We need each of you wishing to participate to contact your coordinator as indicated below, and lock-in your exercise role.  Remember, you will be trained.  This is a low stress medium physical activity training exercise and no experience is needed from neighborhood participants.  Get involved.   Please sign-up by July 28th so I have time to fill positions not covered.
